********************************************************************************************** ***** ***** ***** LP-Bridge and LPB2 USERS: ***** ***** UPDATE TO THE LATEST VERSIONS OF LP-Bridge or LPB2 ***** ***** The K3 data decoder window needs the latest version ***** ***** ***** ***** SOME Creative DRIVERS CAN CRASH 64 bit SYSTEMS ***** ***** UNLESS SYSTEM MEMORY IS SET TO 4GB OR LESS. ***** ***** ***** ***** .NET 3.5 is needed in your system but MS updates should have put it there ***** ***** ***** ********************************************************************************************** For first time installations: 1. Unzip the setup file, run setup.msi and wait while a minute or so one-time cpu math check completes some calculations on your cpu to find out what its 'wisdom' is. 2. You can click OK at any time; once the check is complete you will never see it again and NaP3 startup will continue normally. 3. READ THE HELP FILE; if you find yourself stuck, ask other users in the NaP3 Yahoo! group - there is plenty of experience out there. ********************************************************************************************** For existing installations: 1. NB: installation overwrites previous versions. From v2.3 onwards bandstacking is available on all bands so the database becomes incompatible with earlier versions. 2. Unzip the setup file and run setup.msi to install the new version. 3. The first run will merge your old database with a new one and your original settings should still be there - possibly with a few new ones! ********************************************************************************************** READ THE HELP FILE. Play with NaP3. If you do not understand something, READ THE HELP FILE again, or try the NaP3 group. ********************************************************************************************** Discussion, mutual support at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NaP3/ And oh, yes: READ THE HELP FILE, it is the most up-to-date source of information at any time.
